Former Group IE Manager at leading apparel companies, with hands-on expertise in GSD implementation and IE systems through collaborations with CINEC Campus and industry teams. Also serves as a National Productivity Award judge and National Youth Co-operative certified trainer.
Experienced Industrial Engineering professional with a BSc in Production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya. Former General Manager – IE & Product Development at InQube Global (Brandix Group) and IE Manager at Brandix Intimate Apparel. A GSD Licensed Practitioner (UK) and certified Green Belt holder in Lean Manufacturing (TSD, USA) and Six Sigma (Brandix). A member of the judging panel for the National Productivity Award.
Results-driven Industrial Engineering professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in the apparel manufacturing industry, specializing in Industrial Engineering, QCO processes, productivity enhancement, and GSD systems. Previously served as Director – IE at GIZZA Company, Upper Egypt Development. Holds a Bachelor of Industrial Studies from the Open University of Sri Lanka with additional professional qualifications in Production & Operations Management (POM) and GSD methodology. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, work study, line balancing, method improvement, operational excellence, capacity planning, and large-scale production management. Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities in driving operational efficiency, reducing manufacturing costs, improving productivity performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across large-scale apparel manufacturing operations.
Performance-oriented Technical and Supply Chain professional with strong expertise in monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive continuous business improvement. Experienced in handling large-scale operations and managing high-value budgets efficiently while ensuring operational excellence and supply chain effectiveness. Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to achieving organizational goals. Holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from NIBM.
